Fire and Water written by J.V. Stanley & A.N. Ramey

J.V. Stanley & A.N. Ramey Fire and Water
Two lifelong poets, sisters, and best friends have fused together to bring you a variety of poems designed to melt the heart and inspire the soul. Separated for a time and coming back together stronger than ever they proudly present, "Fire and Water." The poems touch upon the earthly and otherworldly cares, delving into the complexities of the soul through the various trials faced through love, heartache, and everything in between. Join them on their journey through the dark and into the light. Travel with them through the gauntlet of poetic life with its obstacles at every turn. Each challenge they faced, however, paved the way for them to step forward with fierce determination and ever present love. Their poetry is mostly free-verse, but touch upon various forms such as the Kyrielle, Harrishma Rhyme, the Italian Sonnet, Etheree, and Twin Etheree.

Als ich kürzlich
einen jüngeren
Bekannten traf,
sagte er:
Es sei ,,Schön",
dieses ,,Lachen"-
meiner Kinder,
was Ihn glücklich machte.
Aber trotzallem
bliebe Er lieber Junggeselle
denn Er sei' einer
der wenigen,
der bei Hasch'-Heroin
und Musik,
der alten Pop-Szene
treu geblieben wäre.
Er hätte sich vor allem,
dem Mensch-Maschinen-
Dasein entrissen.
Einen Augenblick
tat Er mir leid,
denn er wußte nicht,
daß es nicht mehr
seine Worte waren,
die aus seinem
Munde klangen,
wie Hilfe-
suchende Schreie~

when I recently

met a younger known,
he said:
"It would be nice",
this "laughter"-
my children,
what made him happy.

He would prefer a bachelor in spite
' because he is one of the few
the hash' -heroin and
the old pop scene
would have remained faithful.
In particular, he had
the man-machine life
snatched away.

I am sorry he did a moment,
for he knew not that
it no longer
his words were out of his mouth

such as help
-seeking cries~

Pen'D Poem: October November 3 - 9

Spittin That Dream

Inside this once little girl now fully grown perceived woman…

Where I can still see the great and inner dream…

Behind the great veil which holds the inner seams …

The inner vision of my own creator’s creation developed so intricately

The mental stimulation where I dance freely

Unified openly with all that is,

Inside of me where I can see divinity …

Personified rotations of my own personalized paintings

creating within my serenity…

Held breathless against the crashing seas…

Bold and yet beautifully transpired inside my own imaginations…

Energized experiences released in verbal accordance manifested now into

my reality…

Inhaling life as I breathe thankfully…

Spoken power that is moved from inside by my faith…

A dream of connection that fortifies through all that surrounds…

Eternal liberations…

Settled inside perceptions of Positive reinforcement …

Where Love lifts me now into universal heights of truth that stands

Where Placements of peace perpetuate, soothe and release.

Conforming the kingdom within…

Where I can see my own reflection as I stand inside my maker… and my maker inside of me…

Mirrored by Life’s sovereign hands of glory…

Where Inside me it begins to speak

Which now I behold as my own inner creation…

Standing amidst each strand and stroke

I can now internally design…

Metamorphosing now into the physical …

Where now I stand in affirmation...

Humbled honorably by life’s gift

Loves greatest spiritual design…

Careful as I continue to fine detail it

As I pick up the mic and manifest it as I spit..
